Integrations
Integrations overview
How Estate-HQ connects to Stripe, Xero, Twilio, Google Calendar, GoCardless, TDS and the listing portals.
What's available
Open Settings → Integrations in your dashboard to see the full marketplace. Each card shows whether the integration is currently available, in beta, coming soon, or requires a vendor partnership.
| Category | Integration | What it does | |---|---|---| | Payments | Stripe | Tenants pay rent by card; funds go to your own Stripe account. | | Payments | GoCardless | Collect rent automatically by direct debit. | | Accounting | Xero | Sync every confirmed rent payment as a Xero invoice. | | Messaging | Twilio SMS | Send rent reminders by SMS from your own number. | | Compliance | Right-to-Rent (gov.uk) | Verify share codes with one click. | | Compliance | Companies House | Auto-fill limited-company landlords from a CH number. | | Compliance | TDS | Protect deposits in one click; certificate auto-stored. | | Productivity | Google Calendar | Push inspections + tenancy reviews to your calendar. | | Listing portals | Rightmove | Nightly BLM feed via SFTP. | | Listing portals | Zoopla | Nightly JSON feed via SFTP. | | Listing portals | OnTheMarket | Nightly BLM feed via SFTP. |
Three ways to connect
- One-click OAuth (Stripe, Xero, Google, GoCardless) — click Connect, authorise on the provider's site, you're done.
- API key form (Twilio, TDS, Rightmove/Zoopla/OTM feeds) — paste the credentials the provider gave you.
- Platform-managed (Companies House) — no per-agency setup needed.
What we store
Every credential is encrypted at rest with your platform's encryption key. We never log them, never show them on screen again, and disconnecting wipes them from the database. You can disconnect any integration at any time.
When something fails
Every integration page has a Test connection button. Hit it after connecting to confirm credentials work. Failures are logged to Recent activity at the bottom of each integration page so you can see exactly what went wrong and when.
