Rightmove / Zoopla / OnTheMarket — listing feeds

Auto-publish your properties to the major UK listing portals via nightly SFTP feed.

What this does

Every night at 02:30 UK time, we scan your Let + Vacant properties and generate a feed file (BLM for Rightmove + OTM, JSON for Zoopla) containing each property's address, postcode, rent, bedrooms, bathrooms, description, and primary photo URL. The file is uploaded via SFTP to the portal's pickup folder.

The portal then ingests the file on their side (usually within a few hours) and your listings appear live.

Setup (4–6 weeks because of vendor paperwork)

1. Apply for membership with the portal: - Rightmove — call sales, expect a 4–6 week onboarding - Zoopla — similar timeline - OnTheMarket — usually 2–4 weeks 2. They give you SFTP credentials — hostname, username, password, and (for Rightmove) a branch ID. 3. Open Settings → Integrations → Rightmove (or Zoopla / OnTheMarket) in Estate-HQ. 4. Paste the credentials and click Connect. 5. Click Test connection — we open an SFTP session to verify. 6. Click Push feed now to upload immediately instead of waiting for tomorrow.

How a property qualifies for the feed

Only properties with status = let or status = vacant are included. Set the status on each property's detail page. Add at least one photo for best results — listings without photos rank badly on every portal.

Where to check what happened

The integration detail page shows:

  • Last feed: time + file name + property count
  • Recent activity: every upload event + any errors
If you see errors, hit Test connection to diagnose — most issues are credential typos.

Disconnecting

Wipes the SFTP credentials. The next nightly run skips that portal. Your existing listings on the portal stay published until the portal stops receiving feeds (usually 7 days after the last update).
